DMAI and founding program sponsor Searchwide are thrilled to announce their continued investment in tomorrow’s destination marketing leaders with this year’s 30 Under 30 program. In its third year, this program focuses on identifying and developing the talent of destination marketing professionals, aged 30 and under, through increased access to top-level networking and professional development. This program offers DMOs an opportunity to support its best and brightest, and demonstrate their commitment to the success of the industry.
Michael D. Gehrisch, President & CEO of DMAI, believes whole heartedly in the value of this program. “This group of individuals not only keeps destination marketing on the cutting-edge, but is the future of our industry. Our 30 Under 30 program provides this key group with access to new knowledge and tools that are necessary to further infuse innovation into their DMO.”
Kicking off at DMAI’s Annual Convention held July 15-17 in Orlando, Florida, applicants selected for the program’s class of 2013 will be awarded complimentary convention registration and 3 night hotel accommodations. A year-round program, selected participants will engage in a variety of professional development and volunteer activities for sustained industry engagement after Annual Convention.
To be considered for the 30 Under 30 program, nominees must submit their application with CEO signature by Wednesday, April 26, 2013 to email@example.com. To learn more and view submissions from last year’s winners, go here.
30 Under 30 Ambassador Program
DMAI’s ambassador program is an extension to the 30 Under 30 program. The program is designed to engage participants from the program’s class of 2012-2013. Two previous 30 Under 30 program participants will be selected to serve as program ambassadors, also receiving complimentary registration and hotel. Ambassadors attend DMAI Leadership events including the DMAI Board of Directors meeting, mentor newly selected 30 Under 30 program participants at the convention, participate within DMAI committees throughout the year and advocate for the 30 under 30 program at industry events. All 2012-2013 30 Under 30 participants are encouraged to apply.
