DMAI Industry Partner Offers Discount to Members
By: Andrea CatesThe International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA), a DMAI industry partner, is providing the member registration rate for its Annual Global Convention to all members of DMAI. Additional savings are available during early bird registration, which runs through December 31, 2011.
“We wanted to reinforce our valuable DMAI partnership with this offer,” said IGLTA President/CEO John Tanzella. “Our convention is the key educational and networking event of the year for any destination interested in the LGBT travel market.”
IGLTA’s 29th Annual Global Convention will be held April 12-14, 2012 in Florianopolis, Brazil. The intensive three-day conference combines educational workshops, a speed networking event, and a media trade show – all designed to maximize a company’s ability to reach LGBT travelers. The 2012 event will also place a special emphasis on doing business in South America and showcase a new report on LGBT global tourism created in a partnership between the UNWTO and IGLTA.
Registration is live at www.igltaconvention.org. No code is required. DMAI members should select the IGLTA member option appropriate for their business and then select DMAI from the drop-down affiliate organization membership list.
An additional supplier-oriented event will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 16, 2012 as a convention tie-in; outbound Brazilian tour operators/travel agents will receive invitations to meet with suppliers in attendance. For more details on this one-day event, contact IGLTA directly at +1.954.630.1637.
